Hi everyone!
This blog is a way to document my journey running and working towards the elusive marathon. I started running as a teenager, but never really enjoyed it. Now, as an adult, I want to try and work towards getting that love for fresh air and the feeling of my feet hitting the pavement. I managed to do a half-marathon last year, but I have not really exercised or ran since. After reading many books and looking through websites about personal experiences of running, I have learned that taking almost 9 months off meant I needed to start from pretty much 0 (hence the "couch" reference). I will be updating this regularly as a means of keeping myself accountable and a reflective way to share how things are really going! 😎
